MSNBC Focus Group: Carlson Cut the Bow Tie?
Inside Cable News (via Politics1.com) is reporting that Tucker Carlson was ordered to drop his bow tie by MSNBC due to focus group research. I mean really? I honestly don’t know what they’re doing at that network
these days – but they appear to be so desperate for ratings that they’ll do anything they think the public wants.
When MSNBC thinks it will get better ratings by copying Fox – they copy. When they think they’ll get better ratings by bashing the war – they’ll do that too. And now when they thought they’d get better ratings by axing Tucker’s signature bow tie – they did that as well?
Now, I usually tend not to agree with Tucker on most issues, but I did find him entertaining. I feel bad for the guy – this on top of MSNBC not discounting the rumors that he was fired a little while ago that spawned a Save Tucker movement (is movement the right word?).
Tucker, if you’re listening I say screw MSNBC and bring back the bow tie. I couldn’t pull it off, but its something that made you, well – you. And maybe that gameshow thing I was hearing about might still work out too. (Sorry about Dancing with the Stars, I was pulling for you…)
